If you are unsure whether or not you can receive permanent cosmetics or microblading, please contact me at 253-722-9144.
Which brow style is right for me?
Microblading only is best for those with dry/normal skin and existing full brows. This service is most successful on clients who DO NOT have oily skin, sparse brows, asymmetrical brows or those over the age of 35. Rare exceptions occur.
Lasts roughly 1 year.
Combo Brows works on all skin types, existing full or sparse brows, asymmetrical brows or missing gaps of hair. This technique can look as natural or as soft as you desire. Combo brows gives you the best of both worlds: microblading in the front of the brows, and powder on the mid to tail end of the brows. This is bar far my most popular service.
Lasts 1-3 years.
Powder/Ombre is best for those with combo/oily skin but works on every skin type. Great for clients who want a precise dramatic brow, but also can be designed for clients with a natural look in mind.
Lasts 1-3 years.
do any of the brow services hurt?
My clients say its about 2-3 out of ten on the discomfort scale. Once I do a full first pass on each side, I add on a numbing gel that keeps you completely numb for the rest of the appt. The only amount of time you feel the discomfort is the first 20 minutes.
Do I need to know anything before I book?
Read through the contraindications at the top of this page.
Other than that, just know that I will take everything one step at a time, with your comfort as top priority. I got you!
Can I book if I have old eyebrow tattoo work from another artist?
If you've had permanent makeup done before and want to find out if you could still be a good candidate, text me a photo of your current brows with no makeup in them. Make sure the photo is with GOOD lighting so I can see cleary
what to expect service
Brows are a two step process. The first appointment is to determine shape, size, and color. I prefer to keep the initial appointment very conservative. When it comes to a tattoo that is permanently on your face, less is definitely more at the initial appointment. We can always add more color/go darker, but you can’t subtract. This first step is to see how your skin reacts, heals and how your skin holds pigment.
The second step is your touch up. At your touch up, we will have had a chance to see how the original color healed in your skin, and determine if we want to go darker or thicker. We can also address any areas that heal lighter than others.
What to expect After your appointment:
After treatment, it is normal to feel a sunburned sensation for a couple days followed by dry, itchy, and tender skin.
brows will appear darker and bolder/more red a few days after the appointment. during healing they will lighten 30-60% and shrink in size. this is normal.
healing process takes approximately 4-6 weeks. as your skin naturaly exfoliates and regenerates. you will notice color change, disappear and reappear as they fully heal.
color may flake off and appear softer and less visible but will slowly reappear over the next few weeks.
this is all absolutely normal and part of the normal healing process and why one to two touch ups may be necessary. be patient and know this is the part of the normal and expected healing process.
